The short version
This Privacy Policy explains how the Disco Light application — published on Google Play as "Disco Light: Party Flash" ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") — handles information when you use it. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Disco Light is a flashlight utility: an LED torch, flash alerts on calls and messages, a color screen light, an SOS strobe and party/strobe modes. It does not require an account. The SOS light is a visual signal only and does not contact emergency services.
The torch, SOS strobe and flash alerts use your device's LED (the camera flash unit). The App uses the camera permission only to switch this LED on and off — it does not capture, store or transmit any photos or video, and it does not use the camera preview.
If you enable flash alerts, the App detects that an incoming call, SMS or app notification has occurred so it can blink the LED. It does not read the content of your messages, your call history or your contacts, and this event information is processed on your device and is not sent to us.
Your chosen modes, colors, brightness and alert preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not tied to a personal account and are not uploaded to us.
Through the third-party SDKs below, the App processes standard mobile technical data such as device model, operating-system version, language and country, app version, coarse (IP-derived) region, app-instance identifiers, and the Google Advertising ID. This supports analytics, crash reporting, attribution and advertising.
The free app shows ads. Ad partners may process your Advertising ID, coarse IP-derived location, and ad-interaction events to deliver and measure ads. See Third-party SDKs and Your rights & choices.
If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message so we can respond.

Because the App is ad-supported, the advertising and attribution partners named above necessarily receive the limited identifiers described in Section 4. Some laws (e.g. CCPA) may treat ad-related sharing as a "sale" or "sharing" — see Your rights & choices.
We share data only as described here, with Google (Play, Firebase, AdMob), Adjust (attribution) and Meta Platforms (ad measurement), plus authorities where required by law. Your flash settings and call/notification events on your device are not included in advertising or analytics sharing.
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data, and to opt out of personalized advertising.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Our advertising and analytics SDKs are not configured for child-directed treatment. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
The App is operated with infrastructure and partners that may process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, our partners rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We rely on Android's application sandbox and scoped storage to isolate App data, and our SDK partners use HTTPS/TLS in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, noted in the App or Google Play release notes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
